Currently using the octane standalone 2.06 ( but I own plug in for rhino and modo). Using the standalone how do I add another mesh to my scene??

For instance if I open a new scene and import my mesh set up all my materials etc but then "crap" I need to add the floor! How do I then import the floor into that scene OR any other mesh for that matter? Currently if I import a mesh then another mesh they are not in the same workspace? How do I combine them into ONE scene?
