Please give us a keyboard shortcut for Live Viewer

It would be AWESOME to have a keyboard shortcut to "send scene and restart new render"

This command is used so frequently it becomes tiresome and tedious to click on that button over and over again. A keyboard shortcut (user configurable) would be immensely helpful. It would keep users "in the creative flow."

C4d has native keyboard shortcuts for all of its render types (to viewer, render region, to picture viewer).

Your message sounds to me that you are using it as a standard renderer. I hope you are aware of possibilites of LV. Like live refresh geometry, material, etc.. without pressing "restart button".

I know what Iceman9 is stating. Sometimes the scene doesn't get updated and we need to click on the Restart button more often than we'd like.

I completely agree with this, everyone works differently.

I don't think this is the case. Some people use keyboard much more than others.
For me it's because i use a wacom instead of the mouse. Geometry update can sometimes make a mess in live viewer as you change hierarchy in your scene and then you have to click to resend every time you make a change.

Most cool mouse comands in the live viewer are almost useless to me, for example.
But that is not such a big problem as support for keyboard shortcuts.

Nice to see some of my requests like Ui redesign are finally being solved. I was very very close to making an offer to volunteer to redesign them myself but i lost my job and i have been trying to recover so i'm just too busy at the moment.

Refresh geometry doesn't work much, in my experience, and even material changes don't always refresh. I don't mind that so much since I can force a refresh. But since refreshing live viewer is such a very, very frequent occurrence....

I want a keyboard shortcut instead of clicking the button called:
"Send your scene and restart render"
