Is there any way to do an object buffer ( I think that is what it is called in c4d). So it renders out specific objects?

Or is there even a way to render out just an alpha of a certain material in Octane? Or do I only get the material ID and Object ID as options?

Thanks

Hi Cody

If you want just one object - you will need to create an alpha map from the object id map for the object's objectid color. I have seen other requests similar to your (in the Octane Standalone forum), so may I suggest adding your request to that thread for consideration by the Octane devs.

Alright, we had luck using modo to render the alpha. Thanks!
