In this setup I have a keyboard constructed entirely from displacement, and it looks great (good job on that feature guys). While usually unnoticeable, I have discovered that there are cracks in the displacement. I found this because I have lights underneath it that make it glow. The strange thing is, this crack is not attached to the surface, it's more of an effect that moves with the camera.

It seems to change based on aperture size.

Here is a small gallery to flip through showing how it moves with the camera

You can also see some artifacts along the right edge of the pumpkin (which is also done with displacements)

Are you happy to post (or PM) a copy of the keyboard scene?

Thanks for that profbetis, we have managed to reproduce it here and it should be fixed in a future release.

You guys are the best!!

If it's not too terribly complex, what caused this artifact/issue? I love the internal workings of raytracers
