Request for one thread for all downloads :)

Juanjo (and others), I would suggest only one thread where you update the latest downloads, including official and daily build and any quickfix versions as well. Now it is easy to miss an update as we don't know if we should check the official thread or daily build thread, especially as new versions start new threads

Of course we see that there is update on one thread but it can be normal discussion or it can be new update on the first page.

So, there would be one thread like 'OctaneRender for Lightwave downloads' and you would add all downloadable updates there, with some notes like you do now in separate threads.
BUT in that thread only YOU could post so that it would be version history only and in discussion threads would be link to that thread (or even individual post) when referring to some version.
That way people could always easily find all possible updates in date order and could decide if they want the daily builds or just official versions.

The official version post could be indicated with some color or other mark so that those who only want the officials, could easily find them.

What do you think, could this be possible/useful or am I using this forum in wrong way as now I think finding always the any latest update is a bit confusing?

How are you guys keeping track on what happens here?

I think that it is not so hard. There are only two threads about plugin releases :

- The current production release is always on top as announcement
- The daily build is also on top as sticky thread

There aren't more threads about plugin builds or releases. So you only need to check this two ones. I am not going to post plugin updates in other threads.

Thank you very much, that cleans it a lot, earlier there was a new thread when a new version was released so it was a bit difficult to know which was the latest

Still there is no way to know if an update in either thread is for new release or add to the discussion but I now use Website-watcher to check the changes on the first pages of those threads separately so I see if the version changes or should I go to last page
