Maybe it hasn't been discussed.
When I use an XRef object, and this object is a model with some Octane materials, the maps for materials don't upload along with the model.
So I get a model with a material (as XRef material) but diffusion, bump or any other maps are not being uploaded (normally they stay in "tex" folder where the model is).
Is it an issue or did I miss some setting?
cheers!
XRef and missing textures

You need to go to your octane settings and there will be a tab that has a bunch of paths you can point octane to. These are the folders octane will look at when a texture is missing. We keep all of our xrefs in one folder and one tex folder, so I point Octane to that. That will fix your issue, or should at least.
Plugin looks to current project's folder and search paths. Doesn't look xref's folder.
Now checked a xref, it's working as seen. How can you give me more info about it? How is your texture paths on materials or where is your xref file?

hmm.. If it works only this way than it's all clear now..
Aoktar: There is a folder called models somewhere on my computer where I have models with textures.
So I point Xrefs to the models which are there.
Ok, I'll have to reorganise my work with Octane than.

Just point to your xref/tex folder in the paths. Now any file you make, or load, in the future will look there if missing textures. This is not a file specific setting and every time you update octane, you have to reinput that path into the path settings.
