Hi, I would like to know if you can advice a way to orbit around an object using HDRI.
Simply I wanna insert an HDRI Environment and have the ability to rotate around an object object like Showcase seems to be able to do https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-LrVWeYxt4 (hit 4 to jump directly in a point in which he orbit the camera).
If I maintain the camera position in the origin and only rotate it, I can give the illusion the object is placed on the floor of the HDRI (without slipping), but it is a different case and I'm not able to orbit around the object.
Thanks for any help.

Do you want to rotate HDRI? It doesn't react to rotation of sky but i can change this behaviour.

BTW, it's possible to rotate from Environment tag by "RotX,RotY" or with UVW transform or a SPHERICAL projection under "Imagetexture"

Thanks aoktar for the incredible fast reply. Your work and support is amazing.
I try to explain better, sorry for previous bad explanation. My problem isn't strictly related to Octane.
I have uploaded this video to show you better what I would like to avoid.
I would like to rotate around the object without any slip between the bike and the floor like Autodesk Showcase seems to be able to do with HDRI.
If I place my camera perfectly in the center of the world the slip disappear and the bike seems to stay on the floor like this video but in this way I cannot orbit like 360 around the object. Any advice how to obtain the result?
Thank you again.

it should rotate around hitted point which is clicked by mouse on a geometry. If cannot do it there should be a problem with hit detection.

I think C4d and Octane are working properly, but instead this seems a problem related to the spherical HDRI (the way they are captured) and I was wondering how can they achieve the free move and rotation.

I add some information ion the chance someone is able to give some help. I have found this other video in which is a little bit clearer the type of mapping that showcase is doing although I don't know how to replicate it in Octane.

After asking on cgsociety forum, now I know how to do the 360 orbit in Cinema 4D.
Can you help to find a solution to make this work in Octane? I would like to avoid compositing in post if it is possible.

Basically I have a sort of deformed cylinder on which I attached the HDRI material. In this way I can move my camera without any problem, but now I'm not sure how to light my scenes in octane.
Outer view of cylinder
Inner view of cylinder
Which is the best route to light this thing properly and act like it is the environment? Should I use a texture emission? I tried something but it doesn't work I expect.
Any help is really appreciated, thank you.

I try to clear what I'm asking.
If I want to obtain the same illumination of a HDRI environment object in Octane (sky + octane environment tag) BUT instead of the sky I wanna use a sphere, how I have to setup the material to show the HDRI attached on the sphere and light properly the scene?
This is not possible in Octane?
Thank you

have you tryed to assign a objecttag and check off shadow visibility?

Cant you just use a alphamap on your Cylinder that masks out the upper part of it, so the hdr can do its lighting/ reflection on the object?
This might also give a nice parallax effect to the scene?

I attached a simple example of how to use the alpamap...
