Do you have in your kernel "Alpha channel" checked and "Keep environment" unchecked ?

Hi Aoktar,
Thanks your scene was helpful.
So basically in your test figurine scene the background is generated by sampling a material texture file which you have provided as well.
In the cheetah hair sample scene the background is generated by a background shader within Cinema 4d, and will render a blueish background as you can see for yourself if you download the sample scene and hit render with the standard renderer.
It appears Octane only supports background's that are provided via image files but not gradient shader backgrounds. Is this true? I'm just trying to understand what limitations are present so I can sucessfully avoid them. Thanks..
