Has anyone else tried to use any of the cloud sets that come with Carrara, or any set by DimensionTheory?

I have an issue where if I leave the shaders as Carrara native, I notice some strange shapes in the clouds, if i change the shader to an Octane material, the glouds all show as triangles.

I haven't read all the information regarding Octane yet, so my apologises if this is a known issue/limitation

Did you try the cloud material types that come as part of the live database? You mention trying Octane materials, I couldn't tell from that description whether you meant you converted an existing carrara cloud shader into an Octane material or if you'd tried one of the presets (looked like there were two) that were part of the Octane database materials. I tried both of the ones in the database, but not on actual clouds (on a sphere in the scene) and they seemed to render pretty well and looked very 'cloudy' in terms of the materials. I don't know how they would look on an actual carrara cloud object/primitive though. Actually come to think of it, I'm not sure that the plugin will even see/convert a cloud object, seems like that would be a volumetric object the plugin wouldn't see...

Yes sorry, I was a bit tired when I wrote the above, yes I mean converting the carrara native cloud shaders to octane shaders cause the issue.

That is also why I asked if it was a known issue/limitation, I guess the plugin won't be able to everything, so it was more for informational purposes, it's always good to be well informed :D
