I have a question. Will Octane for Carrara support Carrara hair system? I have Daz Studio plugin and now I wonder if I might buy Octane for Poser or Octane for Carrara... It depends on the hair :D

Yes there will be a demo version soon.
No hair will not be supported in the near future. The Carrara hair module in incompatable with octane. I would need the source code for the hair module from DAZ to implement this feature.

No, sorry. The Carrara hair system is closed to the API. Please submit a request to the DAZ help desk to open the API on the hair system. Maybe if enough people ask they will consider doing it.

I would not hold your breath on that one, they won't even finish the Alembic exporter for Daz studio and add the 'standard feature' of camera export even though they know it is a vital and missing part of said exporter!! Still, they continue to sell it as a 'complete' product none the less!!!

Sighman - I just noticed that anytime I change Imager or Post Processing in the Render Target settings the render starts over. As I recall, in previous versions these setting could be changed without the render starting over.

Sorry, this is not happening for me. The render certainly shouldn't restart unless something else is changing. Can you send me a scene where you see this happening.
