Im looking toward Carrara now - have you got the Shaders I need? What have you got for Skin, or eye textures ?

In theory, with lots of time and patience, you might be able to produce something similar. Is there anything right out of the box? No. But, you can get hi res models and facial animation software from DAZ, and this plugin comes with a couple of Octane skin materials that you can use as a starting point.

I'm not sure who created the video but even many of those with Lightwave would struggle to produce anything with this level of realism. A lot of the illusion of realism is created through the lighting and animation rather than just the skin. I've seen incredible Carrara renders by very experienced modellers but this is the exception and is unlikely without a lot of experience and skill.

I can produce images in DAZ Studio now that I could only dream of when I first started using it a year and a half ago. In that time nothing much has changed in DS but I've got more skilled at using it. There's no reason why a very experienced person could not produce incredibly realistic results in Carrara.

I'm still re-learning/ brushing up on Carrara, so haven't tried the included skin yet. Hopefully,
its better than the disappointing pickings in another {un-named} DB.

I will look forward to purchasing any Vendors Octane- compatible skin offerings.
