Maybe dumb, but my HDRI are always black and white. Why? and how to change?
MacPro Quad * 8Gig RAM * GTX 285 Mac Edition ( delete two GT120 to make it run with octane! ) * Snow Leopard 10.6

You must load the HDR as an image (=RGB), you are probably loading it as float image (=converts RGB to single grayscale channel)... Yeah, it should probably be named grayscale image :D
