Hello,

This is my first attempt to install Octane Blender in linux and I keep getting the following error:

Installing OctaneRender...
Unable to install. Perhaps 32-bit system?..
Error during installation, error code (1)

I am trying to install Octane Blender 2.06-6.0 on Mint linux (64-bit).

Any help would be appreciated.

What for lib folder names your system has in /usr?
Anyway, you can always use the key "-e" to extract the files from installer and install them manually. Just read the readme in extracted folder.

Thanks for the reply. I will do what you suggested and install manually.

I can improve the installer for your Linux version in next releases - I just need to know the structure of "/usr/lib..." folders in your Linux distributive.
