Hello,

I have a lot of noise in this scene, and i want to reduce that noise, but i don't want multiply my rendertime a lot more.
My shaders are in glossy mode,and i have bump activate on mostly shaders.

I know if i increase the "maxsamples" it's will be better but they have a lot of noise yet.

This is the only way increase the maxsamples ? the directlighting is not the better way maybe ? Or maybe in the "octane camera" settings ?

Thank you :D

Just wait for 2.10 ;)

Currently there is many ways todo. Gi_clamp, hotpixel params. Increasing samples on light sources. Changing and positioning light sources, etc... Playing with material and texture settings...

Settings > CameraImager > Hotpixel
OctaneCamera tag > CameraImager > Hotpixel

1 = no hotpixel remove
0 = hard hotpixel remove (render is blurry)

Also remember that the smaller your light source, the more noise you'll get. So even though your light is suppose to come from a tiny light bulb, it sometimes pay off to cheat a bit and play with bigger lights.
