I read somewhere about to put the position type to "normal space" for ies lights.
In the rhino plugin I only can choose between "object space" and "world space". Which one corresponds to normal space?

Hi - which version of the plugin are you using pls? Normal Space is only an option for the spherical projection in the Octane 2.0 version of the plugin.

It's 1.5.
So what is the best option for this version?

Use "Local" if you are on 1.5. Then set the projection to Spherical and use the rotation sliders to direct the IES light.

I highly recommend updating to 2.0. All the new plugin features are being applied to that build.
