This should maybe go on a feature request list, but I don't know if it's possible somehow, so I thought I would ask first.
A technique I constantly use in C4D is to blend textures with vertex maps. Is there a way to do this with Octane?

Thank you.

Of course it's not a good solution but it's possible to bake the vertex map as bitmap and use it as amount in a mixmaterial or a mixtexture.

i thought i red some time ago that the vertex map options will be ready for Octane in a near future...maybe i dreamed about that...that could be really usefull !

YES you guys gave me an answer, I was ripping my hair out trying to incorporate vertex maps on metal objects and stuff. Going to try that bitmap idea tho. Thanks dudes.
