Team Render Setup

I searched for this in the forum but couldn't find an answer. I need to run Octane via Team Render for a job I'm working on. All seems fine until The team Render Client says there is an 'Empty Account/Password!!!' which causes an initialization error.
I copied my Octane plugin from MY C4D folder on the same machine, and I have Full Octane Licenses with plugins running on Client and Server.

The manual isn't much help with this so any help would be welcome.

how do you start a client? If you start as client it checks different folder for a "oct.dat" file. this file holds your account

On my main Octane machine which I want to use as the team render client, I copied the c4doctane plugin folder from the C4D plugin folder to the Team Render Client plugin folder. I then use another weaker PC, which I want to work on to run CINEMA 4D with team render using the main Octane machine as 'The Client'

ok, you should put "oct.dat" to client preferences folder.

NO. i mean "oct.dat". It's in prefs folder.

I have installed C4D R16 TeamrenderClient. Where do i have to copy the oct.dat. I can't find the Client prefs folder. I always get the same message:
Octane Render for Cinema 4D 2.05.0
Octane Render SDK version: 2.05.2
Emtpy Account/Password!!!
Initialization error!!!!

I just updated to version 2.06.1 and now it seems to work
