Hi all... this is my first post and first WIP about an exterior rendering.
Well... since i'm a completely noob in rendering i will appreciate all kind of suggestion/advice expecially over materials settings.

Modeled by a friend in Autocad :)
Octane Pre 23.v5 - Daylight System - Pathtracing - Kodak advance 100 cp (i have to change it since the pictures seem to be too cold)

Well... I'm doing some update do the material used in the scene.

Since the two images below share the same material settings, why the "Summer Daylight" seems to be so flat (expecially the wood veneer)?
I know that a solution would be to displace the mesh into the original model but I also know that it would never fit in my GTX 470 VRAM

Any tips or tricks are really appreciated :)
