After some initial success with the Octane DAZ3d plugin, I have been having problems with it rendering textures. Attached are two example files.
Below is how a scene appears in DAZ3D
Below is how it appears in the Octane Viewfinder (and also how it saves)
The scene includes a skydome. I deleted the Uber environment in case there were conflicts.
Auto material updates: on
Kernel Type: Direct Lighting
Alpha channel settings: on
Environment: HDR
Textures: I turned tried Auto Type as well as image
This is probably (I hope) a simple fix. Thanks for any assistance.

Did you turn on "clay" render in the render window?

It looks like a lighting problem. Does it render ok if you switch off the skydome and use daylight environment? Skydomes are tricky to use in OR.

I had hoped it was the VRAM, but it's not. Currently, my plugin has crashed. It would not load any models at all--complicated or otherwise. A fresh install fixed the problem, but it will not render any[/i] textures--even for models that it previously rendered fine.
Hi Spectralis,
I got my hopes up on seeing your comment but deleting the skydome and setting the Kernel type to Direct Lighting and setting environment to Default Lighting didn't work. Unfortunately, I'm now again experiencing the endless loading loop--with only these three trees (minus the sci-fi console). A few hours ago, I uninstalled and re-installed both the Octane program and the DAZ plugin, and the loading loop went away (even on large sets), but it has returned even with this tiny set that uses only a small portion of the VRAM.
