A bit more info wouln't go amiss here. Are you showing this cause this is it working with Octane? Or because you'd like it? What?

I think he wants that.

if so, simply bake the maps (in other software) & use them in Octane - see no problem here =)

all these leaks could be done with variety of programs.. after unwrapp, baking few maps You can use them as any other.

well, there's no such function yet..

so, the way around is to make maps, masks, etc on the unwrapped object & use those..

programs like dDO, nDo2 might help to do this faster:
teaser & the workflow

anyway, to get the best out of the 3d You need to paint custom maps/object..

(& P.S. : I don't mean to say, this would not be a welcome feature, but..
there are already plenty of options to use if You want to get this kind of effect)

sorry, but it's only Your oppinion.

In my view (again it's just my personal subjective view) it (rich dirt) is far away from being PERFECT. It not flexible(& the end result is not so realistic)..It's just a simple program You get used to with time, but there are other solutions (like the one posted before, just one of many..) that has way more flexibility, in order of magnitude more powerful..& the best is that You can work with it now. No features to impliment, nothing..just a bit of time to learn & You're ready to go! Pluss it has free beta, os it's free to try work with for some time.

Glimpse: you swine :)

I had heard of nDo and dDo before but never really looked at it. Spent some time looking at the videos and fell in love. Have just bought the suite. It is awesome.

Coil book: best I can see, it's actually more a photoshop plugin so it's for creating and/or improving texture images while being able to see the results. You can paint, but it also has some incredible built in automatic texture creation tools. I cannot wait to play with it.
