Hi Paul,
I've just upgraded my standalone to 2.x, and used the freeby plugin credit for the Revit plugin. I don't plan on upgrading the rhinoceros plugin at this stage since Rhino is not yet a part of my paying workflow (plus we just had a baby so keeping a reign on any non-paying investments for the moment).
Will my 1.5x plugin play nice with my new shiny 2.x standalone?
EDIT: Or, will I be able to install v1.5 & 2.x of standalone simultaneously?
I'll test this when I get home
version 1.5x plugin with Standalone 2.x?

Yes, you can install 1.55 an 2.04 Standalone - side-by-side. In fact, you should have no problems with OctaneRender for Rhino 1.55 and Octane Standalone 2.04.

OK, Perfect, thanks!

looking forward to having a play - some of the new stuff in 2.x makes great headway to removing some crappy modelling limitations within Revit (sorry for OT)
