The 2nd last pic is my least fav. one tho. The reflection (especially on the chest area, right through the big hole of the top) looks weird. ... but whatever, don't mind me, who am I to criticise such a great work anyway, I couldn't even do a quarter of what you guy do there
Just to clarify a bit why this brand new material set deserves the name "TGX EVO".
What we've done with the new EVO materials is that we created custom opacity maps that come with the shader purchase.
These are then automatically applied over any character maps / morphs that you might have set up.
Whereas on the Standard RedSpec TGX 1.1 SSS is applied to the whole character, the EVO opacity maps will make sure that only select body parts like the nose, the ears, fingertips etc. will be affected by light more than other body parts - just like it would be in reality.
This also drastically improves render times - as the matter of face we recorded speed improvements between 20-30 % - and sometimes more - depending on the scene lighting and of course
hardware configuration.
We're targeting customers with lower-specced hardware-setups and of course everybody who is looking to achieve maximum realism with their characters in OctaneRender.
