Hi all,
is it possible to add post effects to a series of .exr's once they're rendered?
Or output a series of frames with and then without the post effects?
With a still image, I save out an .exr without effects and then one with the effects, and then I can decide how much of the effect I want in post.
cheers,
Steve

Have you seen how maxwell render handles the post (and lighting as well). It can all be adjusted after the render is finished. It's a very handy feature to have. Having recently switched over from maxwell, it's something that I really miss.
Cool, cheers for the info. I was using Maxwell previously too
For still images, the post effects can be tweaked after the render has finished (while the Standalone app is still running and holding the image).
For animation, would it be possible via scripting, to save with and without post effects, just as each frame has finished rendering?

not trying to hijack the thread (my Q didn't seem to warrant a whole new post), but is possible to adjust post in the plugin version after the render is finished...in the same manner you mentioned that the standalone can do? i'm using maya.
Absolutely. so long as your IPR session is still running. In fact you can also play with it to your hearts content during an IPR render without it restarting the render.itsallgoode9 wrote:not trying to hijack the thread (my Q didn't seem to warrant a whole new post), but is possible to adjust post in the plugin version after the render is finished...in the same manner you mentioned that the standalone can do? i'm using maya.
