Hi Karba and Marcus,
I have problem with saving images from net rendering. When I leave calculate image during night in big resolution like 3k-5k, I lost samples from one or more machines during saving. I don´t know if it is bug or some problem on my side.
My scenes are very big, they fill 3-4g of my titans.
Thank you for reply.
Jan

Hi thanks for reply,
I´m using 2.02 because I can´t save image in 2.03.
I noticed that in 2.xx versions I can´t render older big scenes made in 1.xx. Everytime I need to do some optimalization.
For example, I have scene which filled 3,6 GB from my Titan´s. I want to add some other geometry (sofa for example..nothing big), but render is failed. Why? Here are some error logs which came with this problem.
Now I´m using only one slave and saving works fine. Maybe this problem comes with first problem.
Thanks
Jan

I have seen this too.
Sometimes when a slave is taken out, the master removes all the samples the slave had previously rendered.
It has also happened more than once when I cloned image to the max frame buffer.
/other factors
Version 2.02 (all slaves same)
All slaves and master are rendering on 6gb cards
Big scenes - 4gb+ vram used
resolutions were 3500+ pixels across 16:9.

Thank you for reply Whalehunter,
it´s look like a bug. Net rendering is unusable for 90% of my work.

I just lost 16hrs of net rendered samples from 6gpus... (4 network pc's)
Knowing that there was a bug sometimes with *copying to the max buffer and losing samples, I thought I would try and remove each network machine (by unchecking the network rendering tab) one at a time to see if the samples remained before I saved the image.
*lost samples can happen if something thinks the slaves heart beat is stopped.
so...
removed 1st slave. samples remained
removed 2nd slave - samples were removed
removed 3rd slave - samples were removed
gave up and cloned to the max buffer while there was the possibility of keeping remaining slave's 3xgpu samples...
remaining network rendered samples were lost... (obviously a BIG problem).
Error on the slaves: detected that slave's heart beat has stopped. / slave did not stop gracefully.
render size: 8600x6708
vram: 4.9GB
7x6GB gpu's
RAM on master 16gb - using all of it.
should I render through backburner with networked gpu's enabled instead? or commence with the furniture tipping!?
