This is a render produced from a photography as a test image for a possible client. (I hope she likes it :P)
It´s rendered using the AO kernel. 4 minutes for a 1500x1500 image, pretty nice.

Just a single GTX690. The important thing with this scene was a good use (to my taste) of the kernel, not the power of the GPU.

Well done, but something disturbs me is that the tiles on the floor is not aligned with the room

Sure, there are two emitters, one in the hidden part of the corridor and another in the window (off the shot), both with cool blueish lights. The ceiling lights are also emitters with a warm light. The rest of the scene is lit by a white environment controlled by the AO distance. In the following video I show this method in a different scene, if you´re interested:
