Hello,
octane is very interestig because its render speed and quality.

One task for us is to composite seamless cgi with rael pictures.
What possibly ways would be with octane?
I haven't find this in the faq.

You can not render passes yet. The program is in alpha stage which is before beta which is before a final release.

You would need to do your tracking and plate work in your host app, then apply a mate/shadow material on the occluding surfaces, just like if you would want to render in your host app.

But this requires octane to have a mate/shadow material to work. Im sure it will be added down the road.
