Hey there,
can anyone tell me please whether its possible to use now with all those new features in the latest Octane versions to properly use geometry instancing with Octane Standalone? Meant as export the instances somehow to the Standalone version if you dont own the plugin for your modelling software?

You will need to get CSV data from your modeling tool, or use something else (Phantom Scatter). In Octane, load up the CSV data to a Scatter node (which would be placed between your Mesh and your Geometry node (to combine models into a single scene)).
Developer of tools for Octane:
Phantom Scatter - Phantom Node Link - Phantom Photo Match - Phantom Architecture
