rendering clay in picture viewer

Is there a way to render in claymode with picture viewer?

Hi,

I also had this problem.
In my case, sometimes it worked and sometimes not.

What helped for me, was to switch 2 or more times the modes
until the rendering in pictureviewer starts in the correct clay-mode.
