Can't get my prize (1 octane license) which I won in animation contest.
I wrote a letter to Radiance 6 days ago - still no answer. Don't ignore me, please. I'll accept any reply - "please wait, we can't do this right now" or "your prize is expired, go away", say something.
Here is my letter:
"Hi!
Eventually I've decided what I want to do with my additional license (which I won recently in animation contest).
I want to give it to my friend Vladimir Shelest. His nickname on refractive forum is "Shelest" and his e-mail is "[email protected]"
Is anithing else I should do to give him license?
Thanks!"

BTW, he is a very talented concept artist that mean more nice pictures for octane gallery. He is asking me every day about license that I promised him and I don't know what to say.
Sorry for this reminder, I hope this misunderstanding will be solved soon.

- Doctor, everyone ignores me!
- Next!

I've read this http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... f=7&t=4119
but still haven't got any response for my request. Guys, why I have to beg you to do keep your promises? If you aren't going to give me my prize license - just say it.

Hello there,
I dont know why Refractive arent fixing this for you.
The customer service has turned to shit lately.
Quite a few people have had issues with getting their licenses and in another case a customer cannot get reconnected after Refractive seem to have messed up their records.
If I read your posts correctly you wait now almost 2 weeks after payment to get your license sorted out.
If I were you I would send Refractive a final email asking for your license to be fixed up or for them to give your money back.
Maybe that motivates them to do something.

I am worried here, something is going on internally at Refractive software it seems. I hope I am wrong but things have not been so good lately.

Hasn't Refractive employed someone a month ago, who was supposed to help in administrative tasks, support and community relationship? The ideal guy to solve problems like this one...

He made a whole of two posts on the forums...

Well yes lets see we have 7 members of the Refractive team I think: radiance, erik, brecht, nostromo, philbo, enricocerica, squarepusher...and no one pays any attention to this customer waiting patiently 2 weeks for his license to be sorted. I know I have seen 4 of these guys in the forums in the last few days. Not good enough IMO.

Well I would hope not. Octane seems off to a good start so far. I want it be successful. ;)
I'm liking the renders I make with it. There is a lot of potential for GPU rendering.
Unfortunately the customer service lately is letting Refractive down though I must say.
I do my best to help other users on the forum but its not my responsibility you know.
