No, it's a high tech mosquito sucking blood from human heart. I can see why the mosquito would look 2Dish instead of 3D. There is a lack of shadow and depth because of his silvery legs, it doesn't look like it's feet resting on the heart. But the whole thing is 3D

Hey there, cyNickalCyn. First of all thank you for looking. I totally suck at lighting and I don't deny that at all haha...but I am happy that you love this lighting. It motivates me to improve my ability to light my scenes.
I am sure there is a way to get those light rays in octane, sadly, I am unaware of how to achieve such thing with my crappy lighting skills. I PW (post work) my images in PSCS6 to get what I need to complete my pictures. I will do some research and if I can figure it out how to achieve god rays, I will make sure to send you the info I find.
