Hey everyone,
I'm having a serious problem with a cinema 4d scene. The scene is getting pretty huge, with a high poly count and several textures / materials.
Working on it has been good so far, only for some reason materials seem to ignore some of the image textures. Weirdly even remaking the material using the same textures in the problem scene still has the error.
I have plenty of VRAM left. Most textures are JPG format. Running cinema R14, and just updated from Octane 1.01 to 1.51 (which hasn't helped unfortunately!)
If anyone could please give any advice / things to try I'd be very grateful!
Thanks guys!
Disappearing textures / materials! Please help!

Hi,
Please firstly use 1.52.1. 1.51.x has been compiled with a mistake on my side.
I think you have a texture limit problem, not vram.
please check how much is your textures. Info is displayed on Live Viewer status.

Hey Aoktar, thanks for getting back to me, updated to 1.52.1 now.
Not sure where it says how many materials I'm using, but if it's the bit that says RGB 32 then it's 130 I think. Is this over the limit?
Thing it, I've duplicaed the scene to try and fix the issue, which doubled the number of the materials in the scene, probably making it worse!
What is the limit in 1.52.1 please?
Thanks very much

Limit depends to gpu's Compute Model. So, it's not same for all graphic card. This picture shows my 590's capacity.
Look at Rgb32:0/64. This says used is 0, max is 64. Titan or 770/780 should has 144 of rgb32.

Hey,
thanks very much for your help! And for replying so quickly. I'm using a GTX Titan, which has a limit of 130. I was previously running at around 160 / 130, so guess I'll dial it back a little. I have duplicates in my scene, so I ought to be able to work it out!
Thanks so much for your help again!
