I'm a trying to figure out if there is an easy way to automatically have the premade UV maps and/or textures applied to your object when you bring it into the Octane Render plugin for Lightwave? Is there a standard workflow for this? Or do you have to painstakingly reapply the UV's to the object, and recreate the textures inside the plugin itself?
It's very tiring to transfer and set up all those UV's/Textures (especially for complex characters) and after mouse click 1001, I'm exhausted and want to curl up into a ball on the floor & cry! What are your workflows when importing from other Modelers to Lightwave then to Octane?
Juanjo, if you happen to read this, I would like to request some sort of user friendly shortcut buttons or automation for regularly used tasks and usability for 2.0 (Like a "Giant Red Easy Button" would be nice for UV and textures transfers)

I want to work in some kind of support of "T" texture layers, or a material conversion to nodes, along the 2.x development cycle, after release the first 2.0 version with all the new Octane features.
Currently you need to setup your materials with the Octane nodes.
