Starting a new car project here. Not sure what to call the car yet. One of those things that will probably pop into my mind while I'm working on it.
Basic form and some preliminary details dropped in. Will probably put some rear brake air inlets in the sides.

More progress.

Changed the bonnet so that it was not so flat, and added the side vents plus various details.

Well done. I am always impressed seeing the process of "hard-edged" modeling. Your original shape looked so uninspiring. (No offense) But now as you progress I like it a lot. Just goes to show I should not to judge too quick.

Talent rises well from the patient hand.

Look forward to seeing the end result.

Thanks Peter. And I admire your honesty. Crits are ALWAYS welcome. Even when I don't listen! :)

When I started this, I wasn't sure which direction this should go....More trendy or more classic. As I got into it, it was really turning hard towards more classic understated. So I pulled away from things like odd shaped headlights and went with round ones because any odd ones didn't fit.

This design has one thing that pretty much makes it an unrealistic concept car...The bonnet and doors are all integrated so it has to lift up as one unit. In order to do that, the whole thing has to lift up so high, that you'd need a special garage that was high enough to contain it. The best method I found so far was to have a two piece arm with an elbow that folds down into the rocker panels, one on each side of the car. So I'm moving ahead cautiously until I'm satisfied with the mechanism.

Body panels fully completed. Although I may add some more details as things go along.
The bottom left two images are a stereo pair. So if you can cross your eyes and focus, you get 3D.
Next post should have a lot more added like bonnet and wheel wells and lights.

Bonnet completed, and wheel wells in place.
Tires are done but I won't be rendering them until the car is ready for Octane.

Interior going in.

The car seats are not mine...I'm going with a mesh I found online since I am not going to be doing anything more than a mocked up interior. Basic shapes and panels and no detail. I like the guy's car seat mesh, however. Nice job.

Not sure if I am going to keep the car orange. Was just a good color to use when I was building the body shape.

More work on the interior. Just need to add the front kick-panels, console and rear trunk partition and cover. That will be it for the interior...No controls will be modeled.

Really nice. It's pretty difficult to model vehicles so respect is due. I've tried a handful of times and mine always look aweful, so this is impressive work.
