I worked the last 3 days on a new personal project. Got a little bit inspired by the movie "Elysium". I hope you like it.

Cinema 4D / Octane (of course) on one 780GTX. Render time around 5-30 minutes depending on the shot.

The close up was bump actually. The texture was really really small and its only a jpg. This is why you have some jpg artifacts on it. I should draw it in illustrator to get it completly clean. This was an early shot and the rendering time was 5 minutes. So i did not care to much. :[

Very nice work and materials. Do you plan to make some animations of it?

Yep, thats the plan. I'm not sure when exactly. I wanna build the environment for the animation in 3D as well and this can definitely take a bit.

The last one because of the lights that are reflecting on the metal. I did not test it really so i just had it render for 30 minutes (Pathtracing with 200 samples @ 36 subframe motion blur). For the animation i will test it further to optimize the render time.
