Hey everyone,

so currently I´m running octane on a machine with only one gtx780...it´s fairly ok but I thought I might need to take it up a notch or two...so what would you recommend, getting another gtx 780 or a single titan and sell the old 780?

Seeing as how 2 780's would give you 4608 cores compared to 2688 of a Titan than it's an easy decision to make if you are concerned more with speed.

The only time you need a Titan (for now) is if you need the 6GB VRAM. Otherwise there are faster and cheaper cards out there.

Don't forget there is a 780 6GB version coming out very soon. If the cost is anywhere near the rumored sub-$600 mark then that's an even easier decision....

Basically if I were you I would hold out just a bit and grab two 780 6GB's and then sell off the 3GB version you have. You would have nearly twice the speed and the same 6GB VRAM for less than the cost of a single Titan.
