Hello, i'm new to octane, switched from cycles and i can not make ies lamps working. Is there a working example or some tutorial? bc placing float image texture with ies file into distribution slot does not working - light just comes from plane like it has no ies in it.
Hi Rodionov,
This should work, there must be something in particular going wrong.
What geometry are you adding the IES light to?
Can you please post the blender file and ies file.
Perhaps just just a simple test scene from scratch to double check nothing is interfering...
Thanks
Chris.

Hi, I tried recently with IES, and one important thing that I noticed is that all different lamps must have different materials if they are oriented diffenrently.
