This little baby is four GTX295 in a custom case made by Protocase
There's a PDF with more pictures here
The custom case cost $343 for one case, dropping to $204 each for an order of 10 :mrgreen:

Here's a setup made using the Manifold PDF with slight different parts, by a guy in Nvidia forum
* Enermax Galaxy 1250W PSU
* Intel Core i7 920 (2.67 GHz)
* 4x EVGA GTX 295 cards (the new single PCB variety)
* Manifold Custom Case Rev 2 from Protocase.com
* 3x Thermaltake A2018 120mm fans (blue LED and various speed control options)
* Rosewill RFT-120 120mm fan filter
* Patriot Viper 12 GB RAM PC-10666 kit (6x 2GB modules)
* Intel X25-M (G1) 80 GB Solid State Disk
* Asus P6T7 WS Supercomputer motherboard
* Running Scientific Linux 5.3 (this is a RHEL 5.3 rebuild, like Centos) and CUDA 2.3 driver

Total cost is $3800, a little over $2k is for all the graphics cards
Notice that this little baby run ULTRA-HOT at 100% GPU speed so its not a good idea to make one yourself at home :lol:

Protocase also make this kind of case (click on picture for full article)

You would think that with running 4x gtx295's you would at least get into water cooling that that point being as there is almost no room for any air flow with the cards bunched together like that. That is a massive amount of power though. I'll be happy once the gt300 cards come out and reduce the price of the 295's to a realistic point, or if the asus mars ever comes out (295 2x 285 gpu's with 4gb of vram) but those were limited edition and also suffered from serious heat problems.
System 1: EVGA gtx470 1280Mb and MSI gtx470 1280 in Cubix Xpander for Octane, AMD 945, 4Gb Ram
All systems are at stock speeds and settings.

This computer is not for doing 100% GPU fulltime that's why there's no cooling system beside air cooling with fans.
Its possible to use the same components in a regular case with better cooling.

GTX300 and FERMI gonna need special fan (120mm) for cooling the PCI area because of the heat.
PC case makers start to release FERMI special case with removable fan for PCI, like thermaltake.

Sam, did you hear something about the EVGA W-555?
http://jornaltecnologico.com.br/tag/w-555/
It's a dual i7, with SATA III, up to 48GB and 7 PCI-E.
I'd like to know about the power supply for it...
Imagine Octane using SLI, with 7 GTX 295 or Teslas, Formis, whatelse...
GOD! :lol:

As GTX 295 are double size, I fear that you would be able to mount "only" 3 of them on this motherboard. Most powerful graphic cards are double size...

In such case it is pretty useless... Anyway it was just put together for a stunt ;) Nice stuff, though.

I hope you guys get a referal fee from them, though :lol:
