Hi,

I just discovered that Octane Lights which are parented to a hierarchy aren't instanced within Octane or aren't showing up in the final render at all.

Octane Lights, like all the other Lightwave lights, can't be instanced. But the good news are that in Octane you can configure an object (or a surface in an object) as emissive geometry using the emission nodes, and with this setup you can instance the emitters without problems.
