Just done a pile of tests....
Octane render is doing a weird cadence on my image sequence applied to octane materials....
It renders 2 frames...then holds the third frame for 2 frames...
so 1,2,3,3,5,6,7,7, ect basically it is 1,2,3,3,5 and then cycles that...
The current frame in the render dialog also reflects the exact same cadence....BUT...the cadence is normal on the camera and the geometry....just not the image sequence applied.
I tried with camera motion blur disabled, thinking that may be the issue...but no change.
I tested LW native render and it seems to be alright...but havent ruled out LW completely as the issue.
So in summary here is what I did
apply an image sequence to octane material...24fps in my case
check unseen by camera (so its just in reflections)
render away....
the reflection will appear jittery because of the cadence (repeats 1 frame and skips another out of 5)
and the render dialog will show the same cadence in the current frame number i.e. mine went 71,71,73,74 ect
my LW framerate is 24, my background video is 24, and my image sequence is 24
Hopefully this can be sorted....
Interestingly this seems like a pulldown type cadence for converting 24p to 30p

Thanks Juan...
Here is a little video of the problem....the first part is at normal speed, you can see the jitteryness...
The second is a slowed down non interpolated version....
At about 24 seconds, if you see the reflection on the hood, there is a roto error which I was going to fix....the error is exactly 1 frame long, but with the weird cadence you clearly see it gets repeated

Just did a full test in native LW render...
Works fine there....100% proper cadence

I am not 100% sure on the cadence cycling....as in a repeating pattern
It may be a random cadence

Also to be clear...not sure this is just a latest release issue, as this is the first time I have used an image sequence in a render.

Can you please try this new build? ... you only need to replace the plugin file. The bug should be fixed now.
