Hi all,
We have just released our HDR Light Studio live plug-in for Cinema 4D and it supports Octane Render.
Here is the promotional video: https://vimeo.com/89147255
Here is a video tutorial of the workflow with Octane Render: https://vimeo.com/89307150
Octane is fantastically fast and works superbly with HDR Light Studio's interactive HDRI map!
We hope you like it:-)

Well that's really odd. Please try downloading 1.20a again from here: http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=37533
Just to make sure we are using the same things. The build got changed on 6th March... it may have been called 1.20a prior to that... I have a feeling a small change was made to fix this issue.

Yep, latest build of Lightmap, latest build of Octane direct from that link - same stuff: "The installed Octane plugin version is not up-to-date. Please install version 1.18b or later."
Running R15 Studio on Mac OS X (best of luck keeping up with Octane development!)
