Alienware on the cusp of releasing 8GB Nvidia 880M laptop

So apparently Dell Germany accidentally released details of the next-gen Alienware laptop with the new Nvidia 880M which appears to have 8GB of VRAM.

As I was thinking of shelling out for a new lappy with a 780M and 4GB I think I will wait till the summer.

if 880m will be 8GB I'm just wondering what we are going to see for desktop market =)

For the adventurous, I found the 880M on sale on ebay. So for anyone who is willing to risk bricking their MXM 3.0 compliant lappy here it is at a thousand bucks a pop.
