Can't authenticate license

I just tried enabling Octane in LW and it says the plugin account is currently activated on another machine. Yesterday, it was working fine. The only thing that has changed is I have installed the HDR Light Studio demo. Octane standalone opens fine and states that Octane is currently activated for this machine.

I'll release the license and try reactivating it. It seems odd that the standalone has no issue...

Yes, please ... release the license using the account web page and try to authenticate it again. If you have problems you can also delete the Octane.cfg file that is stored in your Lightwave configs folder.

Same Here. It seems that using the latest 1.36 version of the plugin messed up the license somehow. Deleting the configdeosn't fix the problem, Octane is unable to identify the live account. I new I shouldn't update a plugin or software in the midle of a job!

Really strange. Can you please release all your licenses from the web page and try again? ... also be sure that you are using the plugin license data, not the standalone.

Here all works fine ... perhaps there is a problem in the Otoy serevers? ... try again, please.

I opened Octane standalone 1.36 and the license is activating. I am using the proper Lightwave/Octane license datas.
What do you mean by releasing the license? Deactivate the live account and reactivate It?

Use the Octane web page to deactivate all licenses. Login into your Octane account, go to the "OctaneLive Accounts" tab and click over "deactivate" in your licenses.

Then try to enable the license again in the plugin, but perhaps you are going to need to wait a bit.

Just retried right now (after 30 minutes or more) and It worked. I guess that could be a problem with the OTOY server?

Yes, perhaps there was a problem in the license server.
