Demo error

I have tried untold times to install the demo and keep getting the same error when opening Poser 9!

An errror occurred importing addon OctaneRender for Poser :
ERROR: [Error 2] The system cannot find the file specified: u'C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Smith Micro\\Poser 9\\Runtime\\Python\\addons\\OctaneRender for Poser\\32 Demo'

My system is a DELL XPS I7(laptop) with Windows 7 64bit, 4gb ram, 3gb gtx graphics card.

Any help would be great!!

Hi Bushyj,

Sorry the poser demo is for 64bit versions of poser only.

I'm slightly rusty on this, but I thought Poser 9 was 32 bit only, so eventhough you are running Windows 64 bit, I think you need the 32 bit version of the plugin, which as FooZe says, is not currently available. I will do a 32 bit build in the next day or two - and post back here when it is done.

Bushyj - I have a 32 bit demo build done - however my 32 bit Windows test PC is temporarily unavailable - so I haven't personally tested the build fixes the issue you have above. But if you would like to try it out, pls email me at "paul at physicalc-software dot com" and I will send you the pre-release test version.
