Hi,

just playing around a bit with MB, but cannot achieve the right result.
I want to get a nice circle-like mb of the blades of a helicopter.

I tried fstop = 3, 2. and 1, and samples (in Rendersettings) of 5, 16 and 36 but nothing really seams to work.
The blades are rotating very fast.

I'm missing something?

thanks
Mike

if you're doing with subframe motion blur, play with shutter speed in camera->physical. Moblur on octanecamera tag noly will do camera motionblur it's not for geometries

o.k.
when I animate the rotation of the blades directly it works.

But when I animate the blades via "Xpresso", for getting a constant rotation
over time, MB does not work!
Is this a known issue?

thanks
