Don't worry, your English is fine.

We currently don't have a plug-in for Houdini planned, but that doesn't mean that it'll be that way forever. That doesn't stop you from exporting from Houdini as an Obj file and rendering the scene in Octane.

That is true with the current situation.

Complete RIB support for animation will be added in a 1.X release so this might be an option for you.

All users who purchase a beta license will get a full 1.0 license when it is released. This also includes 1.X releases.

right now animations are done exporting an obj file for each frame in case of animated scenes or just the camera position in flythrus, this is something that the plugins do automatically so you don't have to bother, when RIB supports gets here is going to be much faster of course :D

And when version 1.x will be out?

Unknown at this time.

Version 1.0 will be released pretty soon and then there will be further releases as 1.X releases until the complete Version 1.0 feature list is implemented. It will be a combination of bug fixes and new features.

After those releases are completed, then work will begin on version 2.0 which will be a new version that all users will need to purchase.

houdini is a very exotic and high-end animation environment that at this time (not in a few months) is not a large enough market to invest into another plugin (we've invested in quite a lot already in a short time, mainly for architecture and visualization markets, and light animation).

Once our first version is released as a final product (very soon), we will start work on the next 1.1 free update (for demo licensed customers too), with more advanced options for the more high-end animation market.
