What do I have to purchase for Team Render?

I assume this has been asked before, but I didnt find any final info on this: What do I have to purchase to render on multiple machines?
Do I need a) the plugin or b) the full package ( standalone & plugin ) for each client?

yes, it`s correct for the moment. best is to put more gpu asap much on same machine. you can use 16 gpu on same machine therocally
