I am new to Octane for Rhino (though a little familiar with the Stand Alone Version).

I can open an Octane window in Rhino but it is blank. If I click Render I get a render window but it is simply black.

The Rhino window is simply the Perspective view. It is there clearly but does not show up in the Octane window at all.

As the subject says this is a very basic question ... how do I turn it on?

thanks,
eric

Hi Eric -- You would be much more likely to get some action - if this were in the Rhinoceros3D threads... and perhaps a more meaningful title as well. Guys (like me) click on it, see that it doesn't apply to us (non-rhino), and move on. And maybe the plug devs have it set up so posts from their threads get emailed to them. I know Juanjo the Lightwave dev pounces on all posts, right after they appear...
