ojb import problems

Hi all I have been following the develpment for a while now of octane and just recently got a computer with a cuda based gf card wooohoo
have downloaded the demo but cannot load any obj files I have created in blender to test the software ,
1) open>select file there is no (that I can see) option for choosing obj files just .ocs files format??? what am i missing?
2)are there any test scenes or octane supplied files that i can use as a test for my system ?
thanks for the help
Oh and I have done a forum search on this but could not find any relevant answers

The .obj is loaded by creating a mesh node in the Graph editor - right click -> add -> object -> mesh

You can download the test suite at the downloads page (at the top)
