Morning =)
so, is it something to conclude from this?
1. as You posting samples I assume You want to show that Octane is getting 'slower' - however..there's nothing else to expect from the engine - It have to slow down while feature list is growing..
2. The scene is too simple to showcase the fact that developers where talkin' about : You need less samples to get same quality - now if You manage to show that, it would be awesome. Now this test doesn't conclude anything new =)
Cheers

There is no point to compare Ms/Sec after huge rewrite like this.
You'd have to compare noise, then we can get some idea if it's actually better or worse.
Your 1.0 example looks worse than the one rendered with 1.25. Now that's a big improvement to my eyes.

Can you check the images after exactly 1 minute? Even with more ms/s it might mean more noise is left

The slowdown between 1.0 and 1.10 is probably because 1.10 is using direct light rays to sample the environment. Switch off the environment sampling if you compare 1.0 and 1.10.
I don't know why 1.26 is so slow on your PC. The red memory bar is quite a bit larger, check if nothing else is using the GPUs.
