Playing with the octane standalone demo, amazed by it's power! However, I'm not ble to remove the white dots that's happening in a pmc and pathtracing method. Attached an image that's sampled in 2048. Hotpixel value is at 0.7.

set caustic blur between 0.6 - 1

THank you very much for the tip, it really worked!
However now, the caustics are completely gone..

they are caused by the caustics, you need a little caustics blur, but too much will remove your caustics all together, as you have found.
How long did you render it for? to get caustics really clean, you need to render it for a while (it's probably the thing that takes the longest to clear up).

One thing that will probably work is to increase your image size, it will take longer to render, but it will be cleaner when done.
